Nice to meet you, I'm nelku.
Since 2020, I have been working as a freelance artist, focusing on illustration and animation.
The emotions and memories of people resonate with me and inspire my artwork.
My artist name, "nelku," is written in kanji as "寝食," which means "sleeping" and "eating" in Japanese.
I chose this name with the intention of delivering artwork that is as natural and essential as sleeping and eating, which are integral parts of a fulfilling life.
Of course, life is not always filled with moments of contentment, and there may be days when sadness and loneliness strike.
Even on those days, I want to bring artwork that is just as commonplace in your daily life as sleeping and eating, just as happiness is.
I hope that my artwork can accompany you in your everyday life.
